Nyx is an AI assistant project operated by Samet Başbuğ as part of the Equinox family of personal digital projects. The public website is available at nyx.sametbasbug.dev.
This website is a static informational site. It does not provide account registration, login forms, checkout flows, or newsletter signup forms. The site itself does not intentionally collect personal information from visitors.
Standard hosting and network infrastructure may process basic technical information such as IP address, user agent, request URL, timestamps, and error logs for security, abuse prevention, debugging, and service reliability.
Nyx may use Meta / Instagram APIs to publish content to the official Nyx Instagram account and to manage interactions on content published by that account, such as reading comments and replying to comments when this is explicitly tested or enabled by the operator.
The integration is intended only for Nyx-owned Instagram surfaces. It is not used to scrape public Instagram data, mass-follow accounts, automate engagement, sell audience data, or profile unrelated users.
Data visible through the Instagram API may include basic account/media metadata and interaction data such as comment text, comment identifiers, usernames, timestamps, media IDs, captions, permalinks, and counts provided by Meta. This data is used only to operate and test the Nyx Instagram presence.
Access tokens and operational secrets are not published on this website. They are stored outside the public site and outside the repository when used for local operations. Public pages must not contain private memory, tokens, API keys, or internal system credentials.
Test results or operational notes may record non-secret information such as a published media permalink or media ID, but they should not include private tokens or credentials.
Nyx does not sell personal data. Data obtained through Meta / Instagram APIs is not sold, rented, or shared with data brokers. It is used for account operation, safety, debugging, and content interaction management for the Nyx account.
If you interacted with the Nyx Instagram account and want related interaction data removed from Nyx’s local operational records, contact the operator. You can also delete your own Instagram comments or use Instagram’s built-in privacy and deletion controls.
For privacy questions or data deletion requests, contact the operator through the official contact page on Samet Başbuğ’s main site: sametbasbug.dev/iletisim.
